The decentralized design prevents social data from being monopolized by interest groups and makes it more difficult to block censorship. The entire federated network consists of thousands of instances that are connected to each other, ultimately forming a huge network, like a giant universe. Each server is a galaxy in the universe, and users are the planets in each galaxy. You can export your account and transfer it to another instance at any time without worrying about data loss due to problems with the instance operator.
