Founder of Teaching for Student Success Media and the Teaching for Student Success podcast. I served as a faculty member in the wonderful Department of Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa for most of my career. I taught cell & molecular biology, and genetics. My research group studied the hormonal control of nervous system development in fruit flies. From 2015-2020 I had the pleasure of serving as associate dean in the College of Natural Sciences at Chico State.
